Interactive prescription glasses kiosk

Objective - Produce a very approachable interactive prescription glasses kiosk for use in Wal-Mart, where customers could explore prescription lens options that fit their optical needs and lifestyle.

Solution - A large 'happy lifestyle' photo mural wraps the kiosk's backwall to give the small semi-private kiosk terminal more visual presence in a busy Wal-Mart. The terminal uses large, easy to see physical push buttons just below the screen for navigation (like the familiar buttons on ATM machines and gas pumps - see photo left) to make using the kiosk as comfortable as possible for the technically challenged.

Comment - Not all interactive kiosks have to look like computer work stations. This kiosk encourages customer use by downplaying its high tech underpinnings.
