Interactive kiosk

Objective - Develop a retail end cap interactive kiosk for merchandising recreational boating software. Include an LCD display to test drive the software, a pilfer-proof CD display area, and adjustable slatwall shelving fixtures for boxed software, books and product displays.

Solution - This interactive kiosk uses high pressure laminates, slatwall panels, and looks-like-glass plastic side walls to echo boat decor. The interactive system includes speakers, a phone for sales support and, because few weekend sailors have touch screen displays, trackball navigation (photo, right).

Comment ­ Much more effective in-store merchandising can be done on aisle end caps with interactive kiosks that are both visually commanding and informative. (This end cap kiosk is basically a traditional slatwall display on steroids).
