Exchange rate displays

Objective - Produce a floor standing exchange rate display board for use in Bank of America Community Bank banking centers and bank lobbies. Include a simple, foolproof way to mechanically post changing money rates daily (no electronics).

Solution - A faux aluminum floor stand holds an exchange rate board with segmented digits. The board slips out of the display from the back so each digit's line segments can be flipped from black to white to display any value. No loose numbers, no number alignment issues, no electronic rate board power cord nuisance.

Comment - Although primarily used by financial institutions to display currency exchange rates, CD rates and mortgage rates, changeable numerical rate boards also work well for lottery jackpot displays. Modern mechanical boards are a great alternative to expensive electronic exchange rate displays.
